Everything we do is taking us in one direction, toward the person of Jesus. We want to get His way of life into our system — into the way that we think, feel, use our bodies, talk, and how we make decisions. These commitments will help us stay on the road toward Jesus — with common values, commitments, expectations, and accountability.
As leaders, you have people following you. We want to clearly lead the way toward the person of Jesus. We want the people in our groups and teams we lead to imitate us as we imitate Christ.
As a leader at One Church, I commit to the following:
I am aligned with One Church's beliefs, core values, and cultural behaviors, and aware that it is my responsibility to embody these traits on the mission of God and his church, as I lead/co-lead my Group.
I will exhibit a Christ-centered, servant attitude extending grace in truth and love to all.
I will make my own spiritual growth a top priority. I am committed to taking care of myself spiritually, physically, relationally, and emotionally.
I will be “above reproach” in all circumstances sexually.
I agree that alcoholic beverages may not be served anywhere on One Church Campus or at gatherings sponsored by One Church.
I will ensure that what I do on my social media does not reflect poorly on the cause of Christ and the reputation of One Church.
I recognize a good attitude is invaluable to morale and I commit to being a positive influence.
I will reach out to One Church leadership for help in areas where I struggle, am overwhelmed, or unsure.
